Oakland Apartments offers first-time freshmen an opportunity to live in a supportive
environment of a residence hall with the amenities of apartment living.
Oakland Apartments at University Park offers upscale, apartment-style living for
first-time freshmen. Located next door to the Oakland Hall residential community,
Oakland Apartments offers private bedrooms and semi-private baths in four-bedroom
apartments. Students who choose this option will get the Oakland Hall experience
while living at University Park Apartments.

- Rates include housing for fall, spring and summer terms; rates do not include a dining plan.
- Housing charges will be applied to student account in fall, spring and summer.
- Students are required to purchase one of WVU Dining's meal plans.
- Students will sign a contract for a space in Oakland Apartments for fall, spring and summer (August 1, 2025 through July 15, 2026). Any student with a signed housing contract for 2025-2026 will be required to sign an addendum to secure a space in Oakland Apartments.
- Residents may stay in their apartment during all university breaks, including
Thanksgiving, winter and spring at no additional charge.
- A cleaning service is included once every three weeks which includes cleaning
all open surfaces in the kitchen and common areas, sweep and mop floors in
the kitchen/living room/bathroom, provide light dusting throughout, and clean
bathrooms. (toilet paper will be provided in bathrooms.)
- Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
- Residents will have support and programming provided by Residence Life assigned
to the Oakland Apartments community. Each resident will be expected to abide
by the Community Standards of Conduct.
