WELCOME RESIDENTS

Welcome to the school year's first newsletter. Each month we will send out a newsletter highlighting any announcements or events at the property; along with opportunities to win some prizes and meet some of your neighbors. Be sure to check it out each month so you don't miss anything!

📢 WE ARE HOLDING AN APARTMENT DECORATING CONTEST

Submit your apartment photos for a chance to win. We will be choosing four winners from the University Park community. We want our residents to show off their apartments; so you can choose whichever room you want to feature!

Did you decorate your room? Did you get creative with your closets? Have you Home Edited your kitchen space? THEN SHOW IT OFF! Rules and prizes are listed below 💛💙 GOOD LUCK!

/ RULES
1. DM us on Instagram, @UniversityApartmentsWVU, your photo by midnight 10.8.20.
2. You must be following us on Instagram and the photo must be of a University Apartment to officially enter.
3. All picture submissions will be posted on our story during the weekend of October 10 where we will show off our residents; apartments.
4. The four winners for University Park will be posted Sunday, October 11 @5:00 p.m.


/ PRIZES
1. Four winners from each community (including College Park, University Place, University Park and Vandalia) will receive a $50 credit on their student account.
2. Out of the 16 winners, ONE will be randomly chosen to also receive either a Neal Brown signed WVU football or a Bob Huggins signed WVU basketball. (they get to choose!)

We want you to know how much we appreciate YOU and love having you live with us. Keep an eye out for us during the month of October as we have some fun giveaways planned to celebrate YOU. Just a little something to say thank you for choosing College Park as your WVU home.

WVU Masks

Wednesday, October 7 from noon- 3p.m. We'll be handing out WVU masks (for you to have a spare!) and pocket hand sanitizers



STAY SAFE WITH THE LIVESAFE APP

Live Safe App





The LiveSafe app is a useful app for everyone to have on their phone. Within the app, you can report tips anonymously to WVU Police through direct two-way communication and by way of text, photos or videos.

In addition to receiving WVU Alerts through email and/or text, you can get emergency alerts through the app, too. The LiveSafe app also allows you to virtually walk home with friends or family to ensure your safety if you’re alone, walking at night or just want some extra security.

We encourage our residents to use this app if they have a noise complaint with a neighbor, see something suspicious, or need to report anything to the authorities. Please do not try and handle the situation yourself--use the app!
